It’s chili-cheese etoufee and spinach mushroom etoufee, half-and-half. My friend from NoLA wrinkled her nose at the idea of the chili-cheese, but she still calls me her friend, so I keep ordering it. I LOVE the spinach mushroom! They have differing menu items every day just according to what they decide to make. ‘Tis always good, though. Always!
Chili…WHAT? Chili-cheese etoufee? No. No, no, no, no, no….No. I am mailing you an envelope full of real etoufee right now.
Dude, I know, I know! I’ve had the genuine etoufee, but how about we take one baby step back and start spelling the word “etouffee?” Hah!
It is an abberation, but it’s really good! Tell you what, next time I go I’ll not get it. You guys are making me feel guilty about this! They do have this wonderful chicken maque choux…mmm…
